Wendy's Wastrels & The Fine Ship 'Peach'
Last update 5th January 2001
Here is the details of this fine ship & crew
Wendy's Wastrels
- A bunch of scurvy pirate ladies from the cut throat poorer side of the profession,
who's cleavage is as dangerous as their weapons. Shoeless and wearing tattered
clothes, most wear bandanas or hair loose. They sail the fine ship 'Peach'
and while its small in size, its manouverability lends itself to the Wastrels
hits & run tactics. The 'Peach' is a 26 gun, 300 tonne Brigantine with a
crew of 180. Most of the sailors are multi skilled, except the riggers can't
fire the cannons or vica versa. However, they can all act as musketeers, brawlers
& raiders. There is some tendency for the crew to act on their own when
raiding if they stray too far from the captain or the bosun. They are inclined
to panic if outnumbered or surprised.
The ships rather simple Articles are:

all affairs relating to the conduct of the 'Peach' at sea.
- 2) All women shall receive an equal share
of booty as laid down in the pamphlet 'Standard pay rates for pirates on the
high seas'. All booty collected at sea shall remain the property of the good
ship 'Peach' until such time as the crew decide to split the plunder.

on duty shall be subject to the law of the sea.

to sail upon the 'Peach' except as hostages, prisoners or paying customers,
and shall in those instances remain on board only as long as practical to
exploit them for gain. The 'Peach' shall not set sail with a pregnant
woman on board.
- 7) All disputes between members of the
crew of this ship shall be dealt with by the bosun, who's judgement shall
be termed law. If a disagreement cannot be settled at sea, neither party will
take action upon the other until they can both be set upon shore where they
can resolve the matter in whatever time honoured method they shall so choose.
Captain
The slim diminutive leader of the Wastrels,
Wendy is proficient with pistol or dagger, having used the dagger to earn her
position, and the pistols to keep the opposition at a distance. Wendy rarely
enters combat, commanding from an elevated rear position to tactically direct
her scurvy warriors where they are needed most. For a Wastrel, she is well dressed,
with plumed hat, long cape, embroidered bodice, waist sash & puffy pants
with long lace up boots.
