(10) Includes 2 LMG and one wombat reloading
- ANAM5 Australians - bodies on the ground (10)
Here we have 4 dead bodies lying on their back holding an SLR (all same pose),
2 lying firing SLR, 2 lying firing M16, 2 lying firing LMG
- ANAM 6a M113 APC and 2 crew (Resin and metal)
Here we have a kit reproducing a standard M113. The kit contains a resin upper
and lower hull, plus a number of metal components being once piece track assemblies
for each side, two jerry can packs, driver, commander, driver + commander
+ rear hatches, spare items, mud flaps, 50 cal gun and shield. All items were
neat and cleanly cast, and there are no sprues to disassemble first. As most
items are simple attachments, construction is fairly easy. The resin hull
to hull connection needs a bit of filing, but it is nothing serious. The commander
is a slim 25mm figure and is the upper body only posed gripping the 50 cal
as though firing. He wears a beret. The driver is the shoulders and head for
placing in the drivers hatch if you like, and wears a beret and headset. Assembled
size: 86mm long x 45mm wide x 37mm high to hull top. Scaling is to suit 25mm
figures. There are no particular drawbacks to this item.
- ANAM07 - M113/T50 with machine gun turret Here
we have a kit reproducing an M113 with a mini turret. The kit contains a resin
upper and lower hull and turret, plus a number of metal components being once
piece track assemblies for each side, two jerry can packs, driver, commander,
driver + turret + rear hatches, spare items, mud flaps, 50 cal gun, and 2
main turret options for single or double machine gun mounting. All items were
neat and cleanly cast, and there are no sprues to disassemble first. As most
items are simple attachments, construction is fairly easy. The resin hull
to hull connection needs a bit of filing, but it is nothing serious. Of note
is the turret attachment - there isn't one. In the top of the hull where the
turret sits is a tiny location dimple to allow you to drill it out if you
like, though you will need to work out the centre of the turret yourself if
you plan on pinning the connection for a turnable turret. The commander is
a slim 25mm figure, and sits casually on top of the turret. He wears a beret.
The driver is the shoulders and head for placing in the drivers hatch if you
like, and wears a beret and headset. Assembled size: 86mm long x 45mm wide
x 47mm high to turret top. Scaling is to suit 25mm figures. There are no particular
drawbacks to this item.
- ANAM08 - M113 detail kit Here we have a number
of accessories to add onto your M113 kits or general items. It includes bundled
wire rope, coiled wire rope, rolled tarp, several different ammo boxes and
two casual riders. Both riders are 25mm wearing standard Australian unifrom
with soft hat and armed with SLR. Both figures come with a casting attachment
to thier feet which needs to be snipped off. There are no spures to disassemble.
All items are neat without casting flaws.
Vietnamese
- CIVNAM1a Ox cart, walking lady, bicycle, with straw load (Resin straw
load and otherwise metal) Refer description below.
- CIVNAM1b Ox cart, walking lady, bicycle, with
basket load (Metal) For these two items
refer also this pic with which has some modifications but shows the carts
assembled. The kit has a number of parts which are: cart frame, cart sides,
2 wheels and axle, a cross piece ( I am not sure what for! Maybe to stand
the cart on when the oxen are released), 2 oxen (same pose) a vietnamese woman
carrying a baby, a bicycle, 2 bicycle pedals, bicycle handlebars, and a large
load of baskets containing various food stuff. Assembled cart size is 85mm
long x 35mm wide x 29mm high. All parts are neat and fit together well, though
the bicycle is a bit fiddly.
- ANAM15 - VC troops Here we have 10 Viet Cong
in 23mm eye to sole. Builds are slim. Poses are kneeling with rifle, crouching
with M16, running with rifle level, woman advancing casually with rifle, firing
rocket launcher, lying down firing LMG with separate bipod, advancing with
smg, advancing with rifle, standing firing smg from shoulder, standing firing
smg from hip. The woman is in typical villager kit with straw hat, all others
are in uniform with soft hat except for the firing from shoulder who wears
a straw hat. Except for the woman they all have an assortment of clips, packs
and satchels. Poses are neat and plausable. For purists, the faces don't necessarily
have a distinctly oriental look.
