Eureka's 25mm Avalon Bleeding Range
A so far small range of figures made by Eureka
Minitaures in Melbourne, Australia, based loosely on an alternate English
Civil War with a smattering of magic. More figures to come. Male figures sculpted
by Mike Broadbent of Sydney, Australia, and females by Neil of Shadowforge.
Figures range about 26mm.
Faerun Armies
- Giant & Gnome Crew - A
50mm high giant crouched over armed with 2 cannon lashed to logs to form crude
gaint pistols. At his feet are 4 gnome artillery men standing by to load the
cannon. The giant is in a long sweeping pose leaning forward to sight up one
cannon in one hand while the other is held way behind in balance. The figure
stands 35mm to eye height in the pose and is 130mm long and is in 2 pieces.
The 4 gnomes are sponge man, loading shot, powder ladle man, and fuse spiker,
each with seperate sword scabbard. Gnomes stand roughly 19mm.
- Wild Faerie - a nude
wild looking spirit with a mass of wild hair. It is charging forward armed
with 2 swords wearing only the sword scabbards, which is a seperate piece.
- Charging Levitating Wild Faerie
- Imagine a human squatting onto a crystal ball in a gargoyle pose, with left
arm down to the ball, while the right arm is held out sideways with a rapier
in it, which is pointing straight down. The spirit is howling, with a mass
of flame hair fanning back from its head behind it. The spirit is overall
very spindley and unadorned by jewekry or cloth. He has a pin cast in which
supports him about 15mm above the base, which has a small fire/wind section
just rising above the ground level. Consider it levitating cavalry without
the horse.
- Cannibal Cavalier
- Apparently some ECW regiment had a reputation for being Cannibals, hence
the figure name. This consists of a one piece charging cavalier (30mm) in
full charging tilt, with a separate right arm waving his sword. The horse
pose is very animated, and the figures face is full of expression as he charges
forward yelling. He has saddle packs, pistol holster, sword scabbard, and
billowing cape. Of note is the skull neck charm, and his breast plate appears
to be ribbed.
English Soldiers
- Officer - leader in
coat with eye patch and 2 pistols
- Pikeman - breastplate
armoured, 14' long pike, with seperate pike & sword scabbard.
