Apemen with Guns (out of production)
- Foot apes (5 with rifle, one with long pole
[standard or beater], leader with maracca) All apes wear a heavy padded
banded sleeveless vest, long sleeved shirt, long pants and boots. They each
have a strap over the left shoulder holding a couple small pouches like a
bandolier. All have good ape faces with shaggy hair and beard. I am not convinced
if they wear gloves or not. The guns are carbines with a small clip. The detailing
on the guns could be a little clearer, but they do the job quite fairly. Officer
stands legs apart, left arm pointing off to left, head turned with it. Right
arm held at waist height holding a maraca looking device. Beater stands legs
apart, holding a 12 foot pole across chest up at and angle forward of left
while he stares forward. Pole has no decoration. Rifle apes - 5 variants.
Variant 1 advancing slowly with rifle held up to left across body. Variant
2 standing casually, left arm hanging down, right hand at waist holding rifle
up at angle, looking wistfully away to right. Variant 3 as per variant 1 but
standing facing forward. Variant 4 is standing upper body turned left aiming
rifle slightly up. Some flash between rifle and body. Variant 5 is an early
run sculpting, and is different to all the rest in style. He wears knee length
pants with exposed lower legs and feet, banded sleeveless vest with long sleeved
shirt, belt with small pouch. Rifle is held 2 handed at waist height pointing
leftish.
- Mounted apes (3) Eye height 25mm. One
piece castings, except for separate weapon arm - i.e. apes are fixed on horse.
Horses are same as mexicans above except instead of saddle blankets they have
a blanket roll and sack at right front of saddle. Variants are simply basic
ape in a slightly varying pose on the three horse poses. Separate right arm
holding rifle in 3 variants.
- Mounted Ape new body connection
(1 variant)
- Apeman general on foot
- Giant Gorilla with Recoilless Rifle. Gorilla
eye height when hunched over 32mm
- Loader
- Recoilless Gun Arm (also available
without chimp)
- Assembled Set
- Available in 2 sets, either plain gorilla with recoilles rifle, or
with sighting chimp and loader ape. Both gorilla arms are cast separate,
the right has a square pin for attachment and is a solid join, the left
arm with rifle is a round pin so the arm could be aligned with some variation
vertically.
- Apes with Guns in Boiler Suits (12) (26-29mm) Advancing,
Attacking, Heavy
Weapons (flame thrower, officer, M60, RPG
- War Gibbons (10) - part 1 - part
2 - part 3
Blade
- Blade - As in the movie! Well, it looks close
enough. A very tall 32mm figures - maybe he fights Reapers 32mm (oh sorry
28mm) vampires. He has over long legs I think. He wears long coat, long trousers,
leather boots, gloves, and sun glasses. He stands left arm across his body,
right arm held overhead with separate sword hand, looking as though the sword
ends up pointing down across his left shoulder. You can see two of his syringes
at high left knee. Except for the height, he is pretty good and a good miniaturisation
of the subject.
Frankenstein
The Mommy
- For Anubis warriors & Mummies and Skeletons refer to Fantasy
Races
Sea Monkeys
Shiny One Eyed Robots (out of production)
- Rocket Man/Radioactive Man with pistol
or cylon like from Battlestar galactica. I had to ask about this figure. To
me it wasn't immediately recognisable as such, but probably a good paint job
would clarify it. I took it to be a superhero style figure. I have only one
variant, standing firing a small boxy laser pistol. He wears a long cape.
Figure height 25mm
- Other 3 from the above set
Stirgate (out of production)
- 100SCI09 Jackel helmeted warriors (3)
(29mm) These figures are based on some sci fi show or other, which strangely
you can't buy the movie of on dvd in Australia, but you can buy the series.
Hollywood moves in mysterous ways. These figures come kitted out in the stylised
Egyptian armour with laser sticks. Poses are fairly non aggressive.
- 100SCI10 Hawk helmeted warriors (3) (29mm)
- 100SCI11 Nubian warriors (2) (28mm) Both
figures stand casually, one has a completely separate laser stick
- Cobra Headed Warrior (1) A variant with
what I take to be a rather broad cobra head, but the way the nose is, it almost
looks hawk like too. On this one, the tradional helmet with headpice is replaced
by a banded tall thick neck with the head and a banded neck hood to shoulder
level. He stands casually with a big stick weapon, from the show, held vertical
in his right hand. His left arm just sort of hangs down. He wears an Egyptain
'skirt', shoulder 'amour' and chunky upper arm bands and ornate wrist bands.
39mm to eye height of helmet.
- Armoured Cobra Headed Warriors (4)
More Wadjet warriors. These guys are similar to ones already released,
except they wear additional chainmail armour, so are slightly more bulky than
earlier figures. Poses are very casual. Three come with a cobra headpiece,
the last is bare headed. One figure holds the separate 'weapon' across his
body, but his arms will need some adjustment to make the weapon fit straight.
Stir Wers (out of production)
Stirship Bloopers (out of production)
Wizard of Oz
- Fezzed Winged Monkeys - 6 variants
(also bat wings variation available) eye height
15mm, These figures appear similar to the flying monkeys in the Wizard of
Oz. Variants are archer firing with separate arrow, archer advancing holding
bow and arrow loosely, with scimitar advancing/waving over head, with scimitar
standing on guard, advancing shaking 6 foot spear over head, standing with
spear upright. All figures have 2 separate small, feathered wings that fit
onto the back with a small lug and hole. The archers also have a separate
quiver. The monkeys have a simple unadorned open vest and fez. Otherwise they
are unadorned. All 6 variants are based on the same body and head. Posing
is nice, casting and sculpting clean
- Fezzed Winged Monkeys Flying with stand
- 3 variant. Variants attached to a long flying stand with a tiny hole in
their tummy to fit the pole
- Band set comprising of monkey crashing
cymbals over his head, one strumming a banjo, one blowing an eastern style
trumpet, one with ball ended drumsticks on a little drum, and the fifth is
a more exaggerated bigger rock'n'rollin' monkey singer clapping his hands
over his head. Casting and sculpting neat. Eye height 15mm, 18mm for the singer.
All figs have separate wings.
- Jezzailers. I have three variants.
The first is standing firing an American pilgrim style short blunderbus with
exaggerated gun mouth. The second stands firing an extremely long rifle (33mm
long butt to tip!). The third is the second with another monkey balanced on
top of the gun leaning forward pointing with the left arm, right hand shielding
eyes, spotting his target. Eye height 15mm
- Flying Carpet with 3 flying
monkey crew Flying carpet on flying stand with three crewmen and a basket
of some type of melons maybe
