Eureka's
25mm Circus of Death
A small range of figures made intended to showcase the skills of Australian
sculptors by theming them along the line of a twisted horror circus. 22nd
March 2003
- Clown (as in circus) Generic clown
in jumping jack pose
- Killer clown armed with two giant
cleavers charging on a small unicycle
- Imagine In A Mirror Vignette This
item consists of three pieces, and represents a Victorian lady posing before
a crazy mirror with a spooky counter figure for the other side of the mirror.
The lady stands in a theatrical sort of pose, leaning away to the left with
left hand held out away making a Dr Spok vulcan symbol. Her right arm is held
down low behind her. She wears a long skirt, and coat with frilly neck line.
Her long hair is worn in a bun on her head. The mirror is a simple rectangle
(about door sized) and is detailed on one face only with a swirling intermingling
of melting faces. The rear facing is stepped like a picture frame. The reflection
is a reverse pose of the lady. The solid scantily clad reflection figure has
what these days passes for a lady vampire face, skimpy bikini bottoms, a greave
to the right shin, and a snakey bracelet on each forearm. Around her neck
is a necklace with 5 points hanging from it, looking abit like leaves, but
maybe it's meant to be a web of diamonds. She is a suitably horrid reflection,
but not ugly as a figure. To be picky, her legs maybe a bit long, but then
she's not meant to be a sexy or proportioned figure. Eye height
- Killer Clown 2, 33mm eye height, riding
a clown unicycle. He is very thin, and has a strange flat pointed chin face
shape. He wears a bowler hat, big shoes, and a military jacket with frilly
epaullettes. He has a daisy standing out from his hat, and is armed with a
cleaver in each hand which he is waving on each side as he rides forward.
He is an evil looking clown. Posing and sculpting pretty good
- Generic Clowns. As the prior release, imagine
a clown like crusty in a jumping jack pose. Here we have 4 more basic variants,
with some variation in detailing, big shoes, different hair/hat combinations,
and coat hem details. They are labeled as killer clowns, but they don't look
decidedly killer until you arm or paint them in killer colours. Eye height
32mm. They have no bases at all. They are very tedious to describe, if you
are interested please check the pics.
- Exaggerated horse. The horse
has a rather stout body, just a little too beefy, while the head is actually
too small. It has no gear except a bridle on the head. Casting and sculpting
is good. No idea why you'd want such a thing though
