18-19th Century plantation peasants 1 Male
(4) One stands with pole, one walking with separate cargo bundle on head,
one carrying wood bundle slung over back and one carrying two sacks slung
over shoulder
The 4 packs below are based on a common theme of exaggerated fat lord,
seated thin lady, serving wench (evil looking expression if you ask me) and
thin toffy lord. The figures in each pack have variation between them, the
exaggerated lord changes coat/hair, the ladies change clothing and facial
style, the wenches change dress style, and the toffy lord changes poses. Each
pack contains a large circular table 25mm diam with a square table cloth laid
over it with the corners hanging down over the table edge, small circular
table 15mm diam, 3 high backed padded chairs, sprue with 2 tea cups, beaker
and plate.
100CIV13 - Captive Audience - The fat
lord sits with his left arm resting on a table, while his right hangs down
to his knee. He wqear a coat with heavy cuffs and crevatte. He also wears
a tricorne. The toffy lord sits with legs crossed, reading a very large book.
The lady sits holding an exaggerated faced baby on her left lap, while her
right hand holds a beaker from which she is drinking. Now please, no one tell
Jeremy Reaban about the wench, cause he'll slip a cog and try and raise a
crusade to save Australia in the name of whatever cult he follows before it's
too late. The serving wnech sits on the groundwith her legs encircling apig
who sits before her. The pig is sitting up, and she holds it with her left
hand, while her right hand tickles it under the chin. The pig looks like a
jolly little fellow.
100CIV14 - More Tea Vicar? - The exaggerated
lord is a vicar, with a dog collar and coat over a vest. He sits holding a
cup in his right hand on his belly. His right leg is pushed out and the foot
very heavily bandaged and sitting on a cushion. He might be kicking the devil's
butt a bit too much perhaps. Either that or he's been kicking sense into Jeremy.
*shrug* The toffy lord sits with his feet crossed, leaning forward a little
with his right hand held out with a tea cup as though he wants a refill. The
lad sits with her left hand in her lap while her speparate right hand fans
her. The serving wench leans on the vicar's crutch (as in cane!) with her
right hand, while her left hand holds a tea pot down as though to pour.
100CIV15 - Take Your Order Sir? - Exaggerated
lord sits plainly, left leg drawn aback a little, right arm raised alittle
more on his belly as though he is looking at the serving wenches tray and
about to decide what he wants and reach over for it. The toffy lord sits legs
crossed, holding his teac cup in both hands at neck height. The lady sits
with an exagegrated face baby on her right lap The serving wehcn stands slightly
hunched over holding her tray in front of her at waist height.
100CIV16 - You are awful, but I like you!
- The exaggerated lord sits holding the serving wnech on his left knee while
he paws her dress trying to drag her further on to him. His other arm is wrapped
around behind her. She half leans on him, her right hand brushing his forehead,
her left hand holding her tray at her waist. She wears a plain puffy sleeved
dress. The toffy lord stands holding his tea cup with both hands at neck height.
The lady sits with her hands in her lap, her bonnet looking very medievalish
as a plain wrinkly cloth over her head.
Painter - (28mm) A lordy painter, standing
feet together. He wears buckled ankle shoes with knee length gaiters. He wears
a thigh length coat with heavy cuffs, pockets, and rear split. His left hand
is cocked on his chest holding a simple unmarked palette. His right hand is
held sideways at shoulder height, in which he holds an undetailed paint 'stick.'
It's not quite detailed enough to stand out as a brush. He wears a cravate
and has long ribbon on his pont tail. His hair is long, and curled over each
ear. He has a real hooty tooty expression. Except for the brush, he looks
superb.
