There were 12 Hussar Regiments in this period. They were composed of 8 squadrons with a paper strength of 1280 men, though on campaign this fell to about 800 men, totalling 16 figures composed of
All Austrian figures (foot/cavalry/artillery/officers) have a sprig tucked into their plume. Paint it plant green.
Trooper -
- Shako peaks, neck protector & chin strap - black
- Shako chord trim - black and yellow banded
- Shako rosette - black on yellow, yellow chord from rosette to pom pom
- Shako pom pom & plume - black on yellow
- Dollman braid edging & frogging - black and yellow banded
- Pelise fur trim - dark grey fleece for light coloured uniforms, light grey fleece for darker coloured uniforms
- Pelise frogging - yellow and black banded
- Breeches - braiding up outer leg seam, thighs & buttocks black and yellow banding
- Boots - black with yellow and black banded braid and tassels, crimson insteps
- Girdle - yellow with yellow and black banded barrels
- Sabretache - faced poppy red, broad yellow edge braid, piped yellow and black band
- Valise - leather covered in red cloth
- Sabre - black grip, black leather scabard, steel edging. Troopers red leather knot
- Carbines - black stock and butt, all else steel

- Boots - black with yellow and black banded braid and tassels, crimson insteps
- Girdle - yellow with yellow and black banded barrels
- Sabretache - faced poppy red, broad yellow edge braid, piped yellow and black band. Officers gold or silver lace edging.
- Valise - leather covered in red cloth
- Sabre - black grip, black leather scabard, steel edging. Officers black leather sword knots with gold stripes
- Pouchbelt - black with unit button colour chains and trim

Saddle & Horse Furniture - Shabraque - poppy red, yellow outer band with yellow and black banded edge. Officers gold or silver edging. Sheepskin - lined and edged with red cloth. General horse furniture black leather. Portmanteau red, white greatcoat roll.

Two bases of Front Rank Hussars, command to the left, troopers to the right. Note the green sprigs tucked into the base of the plumes. [Spot the mistakes? White rolled overcaot not light grey, red portmanteau not light grey. There should be yellow edging to the red shabraque, and the sheepskin trim red not yellow.]
